Our AC quit on the hottest week of the year and Genesis had someone out the same day. Fixed it fast, explained what went wrong, and the price was fair. We won't call anyone else.

Home services
Everything that keeps your home comfortable
Whatever your home runs on, we work on it: every major brand of gas, electric and heat-pump equipment. Here's the range we cover for homeowners across Central Arkansas, along with the common problems we're called out for.
Heating & furnaces
Gas and electric furnaces repaired, tuned and replaced: no ignition, a cracked heat exchanger, a bad igniter or flame sensor, short-cycling, a blower that won't run. No heat on a cold morning is exactly when we want your call.
Air conditioning
Central AC repair, service and replacement: warm air, a frozen coil, a failed capacitor or contactor, a low charge from a leak, a condensate line backing up. Quick fixes when it quits, honest guidance when it's time.
Heat pumps
Efficient heating and cooling from one system. We service every brand for reversing-valve and defrost faults, auxiliary-heat trouble and refrigerant issues, and we install right-sized heat pumps that hold their own through an Arkansas winter.
Ductless mini-splits
Perfect for additions, bonus rooms, garages, shops and older homes without ductwork. Quiet, efficient, room-by-room comfort. One condenser can feed several indoor heads, each on its own thermostat, sized to the space.
Indoor air quality & ventilation
Media filtration, whole-home humidifiers and dehumidifiers, fresh-air ventilation and duct repair, for the stuffy rooms, the dust, the winter dryness and the summer clamminess a thermostat alone won't fix.
Repairs & diagnostics
A noisy blower, a thermostat that won't behave, a breaker that keeps tripping, one room that never keeps up. We chase the real cause with meters and gauges, not guesswork, and tell you straight what it needs.
Seasonal maintenance
Spring and fall tune-ups that keep your system efficient, protect the manufacturer's warranty and head off the breakdowns before they start. The everyday care that makes equipment last. See the Genesis Comfort Club.
What a visit includes
What to expect when we come out
You don't need a big project to call us; most days it's the everyday stuff. However you reach us, here's exactly how a residential service call goes, start to finish, so there are no surprises at your door.
A real arrival window
When you book, we give you a scheduled window rather than a vague "sometime today," and we call ahead when we're on the way. If we're running behind, you'll hear from us; you shouldn't have to burn a day off guessing.
A thorough diagnosis
The technician inspects the system, takes real readings (temperatures, pressures, electrical draw, airflow) and traces the fault to its actual cause instead of swapping the first part that looks suspect. Then we explain what's happening in plain language.
Written options before any work
You get the price, and your choices, before we turn a wrench. Where it applies we'll lay out repair versus replacement so you can weigh it. Nothing gets done until you say go. No pressure, no surprise line items.
The repair, done right
With your approval we carry out the work, test that the fix actually holds under load, and confirm the system is running the way it should before we pack up, not just that the symptom went quiet.
Cleanup and a clear warranty
We clean up after ourselves and leave your home the way we found it. You get an itemized invoice, and the repair is backed by our workmanship warranty. If something we touched isn't right, we make it right.
Repair or replace?
How we help you decide
A repair is often the right answer, and we'll say so, even when a new system would be the bigger ticket. When a unit is worn out, though, pouring money into it isn't a favor. Here's the honest math we walk through with you, so the call is yours to make.
- Age of the equipment. Most AC and heat-pump systems run 12–15 years, furnaces a good bit longer. A failure at year six reads very differently than one at year eighteen.
- The refrigerant it uses. Older R-22 systems are expensive to recharge and the refrigerant is being phased out; a leak on one of those changes the calculus fast.
- Repair cost against the system's value. A rough rule: if a single repair runs past roughly a third of a new system's cost on aging equipment, replacement usually wins.
- Repair history and efficiency. If it's the third call this year, or the unit is a power hog, a new high-efficiency system can pay part of its own way on your utility bill.
Lean toward repair
The system is under ~10 years old, it's the first real problem, and the fix is modest against the unit's remaining life. Keep a good system running.
Worth a closer look
It's 10–15 years old, has needed a few fixes, and the repair is meaningful. We'll price both paths so you can see the trade honestly.
Lean toward replace
It's past 15 years, on old refrigerant, and facing a major repair. New equipment is likely cheaper to own once you count the energy and the next breakdown.
New systems & installs
When it's time for a new system
A new furnace, air conditioner or heat pump should last well over a decade, so it's worth installing carefully. Here's how a Genesis replacement actually works, from the first look to the day we hand it back to you running right.
1 · In-home assessment
We look at your home, not a rule of thumb: square footage, ductwork, insulation, windows and the layout that makes one room always the hot one. Sizing off a real load calculation is how a system ends up comfortable and efficient.
2 · Clear options & a firm quote
You get a written proposal with a few options, from a dependable standard-efficiency unit to a high-efficiency variable-speed system, with the trade-offs in plain terms and the price spelled out. No mystery add-ons.
3 · A careful installation
We protect your floors, set the equipment level, correct the duct and line-set connections, pull a proper vacuum, verify the charge and airflow, and commission the system, then walk you through the new thermostat before we leave.
Planning the investment
A new system is a real investment, and we treat the quote that way: clear options at more than one price point, the trade-offs in plain terms, and no pressure toward the biggest number. Ask about payment options when we quote your job.
Not sure yet? We'll give you a straight repair-vs-replace read first.
